Mini-Camps at the Ecology Centre

Join Ecology Centre naturalists for three days of adventures, fun and outdoor education. Suitable for children ages 5 to 8 or 8 to 12. Each mini-camp costs $83.00. Get 15% off mini-camps with a family Ecology Centre membership. Please ensure you have read our Covid-19 Policies.

Children can be registered for a maximum of two mini-camps.
Pay parking is in effect for $3.00 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours via credit card at the kiosk in the lot.

A Walk in the Rainforest – Ecology Centre Members Program

Join an Ecology Centre naturalist for a family friendly guided nature walk through the temperate rainforest. Discover nature connections and learn how to identify common plants and animals. Ages 6+.

Small Worlds – One Earth Series with the Ecology Centre
Saturday, June 11 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm
Cost: $11 per program (plus fees)
Join UBC biologist Karen Needham to explore the incredible invertebrates of Lynn Canyon Park. We will take a look at both terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates and their habitats and learn more about invertebrate conservation.

The One Earth series celebrates this special planet we call home. Explore its incredible diversity! See it through the eyes of scientists, naturalists, and educators as they share their inspirational stories and knowledge about the natural world.

Buzzing Bees – Treetop Tales with the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre

Join us for stories in the forest on the first and third Fridays of the month. Suitable for ages 2 and up, with an adult.
This spring, Treetop Tales will be held outdoors in our covered back walkway. Masks are recommended for adults and distancing will be possible. Please stay home if you’re not feeling well.
